About Our Financial Consultation
Thushara Kariyawasam is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) whose career reflects sustained professional excellence, leadership, and service to the accounting profession. With over 18 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, he has built a reputation grounded in integrity, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to professional development.
In 2010, Thushara established his own audit firm as a sole proprietorship. Through strategic vision and disciplined growth, the practice has evolved into a three-partner firm offering comprehensive services in finance, taxation, assurance, and corporate secretarial services. His entrepreneurial journey stands as a testament to resilience and long-term value creation within Sri Lanka’s professional services sector.
Thushara currently serves as the President of the Members’ Benevolent Society of CA Sri Lanka, having actively contributed to the society for over eight years in various leadership roles including Committee Member, Secretary, and Vice President. He is also a Senior Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT Sri Lanka) and has served on its Marking Panel. His professional training includes a Certificate Course in Forensic Audit from CA Sri Lanka, and he is an alumnus of Ernst & Young Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka.
A passionate advocate for knowledge sharing, Thushara has played a key role in CA Sri Lanka’s examination and member development initiatives, contributing to examination reforms, supervising both local and foreign examinations, and mentoring future professionals through webinars and training programs. He currently represents CA Sri Lanka at the Organization of All Professional Associations of Sri Lanka (OPA) and serves on its Finance and Budget Committee, continuing his commitment to strengthening the nation’s professional and financial landscape.
